In gravity separation, the minerals are subjected to gravity-based processes like jigging or shaking tables to separate the dense tantalum and niobium minerals. Magnetic separation is used to isolate magnetic minerals, efficiently separating iron-bearing gangue from the target ores. These methods are crucial for maximizing the recovery of valuable tantalum and niobium.
