Trommel Scrubber for Clay & Alluvial Gold Washing
What is a Trommel Scrubber?
A trommel scrubber is a heavy-duty washing and screening machine designed to process clay-rich alluvial deposits. It combines a powerful rotary scrubber at the front and a trommel screen at the rear into one continuous process.
Working Principle: Front Washing & Rear Conical Screening
The machine operates on a highly efficient two-stage principle inside a single rotating drum:
Front Section (Washing & Scrubbing): First of all, raw ore and water are fed into the front section of the drum. The heavy-duty steel plate and high-pressure water spray aggressively break down clay lumps, turning them into slurry and liberating gold particles.
Rear Section (Conical Screening): Subsequently, the slurry flows into the rear conical trommel screen. The conical shape allows for a larger screening area and better material tumbling. As a result, it effectively separates the fine gold-bearing slurry from the oversized waste, discharging the tailings smoothly without clogging.
Key Features & Advantages of Our Trommel Scrubber
Our trommel scrubber is built for durability, efficiency, and ease of maintenance:
Conical Screen Design: The tapered screen at the rear ensures smooth discharge of oversize material, reducing downtime caused by pegging or clogging.
Tire-Driven System: Rides on heavy-duty pneumatic tires for stable rotation, low noise, and reduced maintenance compared to traditional gear-driven systems.
High Capacity: Processes up to 200 tons per hour, handling feed sizes up to 230mm.
One-Piece Integrated Frame: Compact structure that is easy to transport, install, and relocate on site.
Wear-Resistant Materials: Thickened steel plates for the drum shell and high-quality mesh for the conical screen ensure a long service life.
Tailored Washing & Screening Solutions for Every Project
At Hengcheng, we do not believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Therefore, we offer a wide range of washing and screening machines designed to meet different project budgets, ore characteristics, and site conditions. First of all, our engineers carefully evaluate your specific ore properties and capacity requirements. Furthermore, whether you have a limited budget or require a heavy-duty unit for extreme conditions, we can customize the most cost-effective solution for you.
Whether you are looking for a cost-effective standard model or a fully tailored solution for extreme clay, our engineering team is ready to help. Moreover, we can adjust the drum length, choose the right screen material (PU, steel, or stainless steel), and configure the drive system based on your specific budget and ore conditions.
Therefore, contact us today with your project details, and let us design the ideal washing and screening machine for you.
