A high clay gold washing plant is a complete processing line designed to extract gold from sticky clay alluvial deposits. Unlike standard washing plants, it uses a heavy-duty rotary scrubber trommel to break down clay lumps and liberate trapped gold particles. Moreover, our plant is designed to effectively recover gold grains larger than 0.074mm, ensuring maximum recovery even in the most difficult clay-rich conditions.

Based on our proven design, the standard high clay gold washing process follows three main stages:

• Stage 1: Washing & Screening (Scrubber Trommel): Raw ore is fed into a heavy-duty rotary scrubber trommel where high-pressure water and intense agitation break down sticky clay. The trommel screens the material, with oversized waste (>10mm) discharged as tailings, and the fine gold-bearing slurry passing through for further processing.

• Stage 2: Roughing (Vibrating Sluice Box + Regular Sluice Box): The undersize slurry flows into a combination of a vibrating sluice box and a regular sluice box for preliminary gravity separation. This stage captures the majority of heavy minerals and coarse gold.

• Stage 3: Upgrading (6S Shaking Table): The rough concentrate is then upgraded on a 6S shaking table to produce a high-grade gold concentrate, which is finally smelted into gold bars in a melting furnace.

• Centrifugal Concentrator: Specifically designed for fine and ultra-fine gold particles. It efficiently recovers gold that is too small for traditional jigs.

• Vibrating Sluice Box: This equipment has the widest application range. It can effectively recover both coarse and fine gold particles. Therefore, it is often the most versatile and reliable choice for high clay alluvial projects where the gold grain size varies across different ore zones.
