Africa’s gold sector continues to heat up in 2026. In particular, Tanzania stands at the center of this growth. The country offers rich oxidized gold deposits and favorable mining conditions. Recently, our latest overseas project has reached a key milestone. The new oxidized gold processing line in Tanzania has entered the full installation stage. Meanwhile, our complete set of gravity separation equipment is arriving on site. Construction is moving ahead on schedule. As a result, this strong progress paves the way for a smooth production startup.


2. A Custom Gravity Process Designed for Oxidized Gold Ores

Oxidized gold ores in Africa often present common challenges. For example, they contain high clay content. They tend to be loose and friable. Gold particles are unevenly distributed. Impurities are also common. However, traditional methods like cyanidation and flotation involve complex flowsheets and high costs. They also raise environmental concerns and require skilled operators. Therefore, these methods do not fit small- and medium-scale African mines. For this reason, we took a different approach for this project. Specifically, we designed a fully physical gravity process to recover free gold. This system uses no chemicals. It produces zero pollution. Moreover, it starts up quickly. In short, this makes it a natural fit for African oxidized gold operations.


3. Standardized Equipment Suite Creates a Closed-Loop Processing Line

We equipped this line with our full range of proven beneficiation machinery. As a result, every stage connects seamlessly. The outcome is an integrated closed-loop system covering washing, crushing, grinding, roughing, and cleaning.

To begin with, a double-spiral log washer removes clay from the raw ore. This solves a common headache: clogging in oxidized ore processing. Next, a two-stage hammer crusher reduces the material in steps. This gives us precise control over feed size for the downstream stages.

For the roughing stage, we use a jig concentrator paired with a centrifugal concentrator. These units quickly recover coarse free gold. They also achieve early enrichment of precious metals. Consequently, this significantly reduces the workload on the grinding circuit. After that, a ball mill and a classifier work together. They deliver fine grinding and accurate size screening. In turn, this ensures a uniform and stable pulp quality. Finally, a carpet sluice captures fine gold particles. Then, a shaking table performs high-precision separation and purification. Overall, each step boosts recovery and adds value to the oxidized gold resource.


4. Built for Remote Sites: Durable, Cost-Effective, and Easy to Run

This gravity line outperforms conventional processes in tough field conditions. First of all, the equipment is rugged and wear-resistant. Failure rates stay low. As a result, it handles harsh environments with ease. Furthermore, operation is also straightforward. Local staff can learn the system quickly. In fact, after brief training, they can run the line independently. In doing so, this solves three common pain points for overseas projects: limited technical expertise, difficult maintenance, and long spare parts supply chains. Best of all, the physical process requires no reagents or consumables. Consequently, this cuts operating costs significantly. Over the long term, the economic benefits are clear.
