The standard alluvial gold washing process is designed for low-clay placer deposits, requiring only screening, gravity separation, and amalgamation. First of all, raw ore is fed into a vibrating screen to remove oversized waste (>10mm) and prepare the fine slurry. Subsequently, the slurry flows through a vibrating sluice box and a regular sluice box, where heavy minerals and gold particles are captured. Then, the rough concentrate is upgraded on a 6S shaking table. Finally, the concentrate undergoes mercury amalgamation and smelting to produce pure gold bars. Therefore, this simple yet efficient flow ensures high recovery with minimal operational complexity.
